MAC TAC is a family owned business that started out with exposure to some excellent quality Cerakote application performed by Next Generation Arms several years ago. After purchasing a rifle from Next Generation Arms we were surprised at how well the coating held up over time and how easy it was to clean compared to our other firearms. The carbon fouling wipes off almost effortlessly from a Cerakoted surface making cleaning leaps and bounds easier compared to other surfaces (bluing, Parkerizing, stainless steel, chrome, etc.)
Originally being from Oregon we are no strangers to rain and humidity; I remember personally battling with corrosion on my hunting rifle. Finally having been fed up with the inferior finishes on nearly all of my firearms I decided that I wanted to coat all of them!
I decided to take the plunge into the world of firearms coatings simply because I owned a lot of firearms that I needed coated. A few years later we are steadily growing into the consumer market and are ready to offer Cerakote to anyone that needs or wants this amazing product on their firearms.

Jazer McFarland
Jazer enjoys long hikes up mountains, precision shooting, three gun competition, martial arts, and tough mudder. He is the oldest of 5 children and engaged to a beautiful woman.
He is the type of guy you want in your fox hole if things go south.
His expertise in Cerakote involve the entire
process start to finish. He has an exceptional eye to detail as well.
Jethro McFarland
Jethro loves being outside with his wife (Kaitlin) and baby girl. At 26 years old he still gets asked for his ID when he tries to buy ammo. Original motorcycle nut turned guns and hunting when he discovered ballistic motorcycle riding is not good for longevity.
Jethro is a start to stop Cerakote applicator and loves to build firearms.
Kaitlin McFarland
She is the very best of all of us. She enjoys bow/rifle hunting, hiking, fishing, and camping. Her husband (Jethro) has a hard time keeping up.
Kaitlin runs the books and helps in the shop with various parts of the process. She is an exceptionally smart and driven individual.
Its best to stay out of her way.
